New Missouri Vision Law

A new Missouri law, the Children’s Vision law, requires all children entering kindergarten or the first grade to have a comprehensive eye exam from a state-licensed optometrist beginning July 1, 2008.
By January 1, 2009, parents/guardians shall provide to the school district proof of the required vision exam. The form to be used for completing this vision exam can be obtained from me or the website listed below.
